R and R Classic Rides is owned by Robin and Ron "Doc" Fischer.
Doc got into classic car restoration while in high school. Bought his first car in 1980, a 1963 Chevrolet Impala Sedan, which needed a lot of work. Robin, girlfriend at the time wouldn't be caught dead in such a wreck. Together they worked on it and it turned out pretty nice!
Working on the Impala and other cars over the years(1977 Chevrolet K10 Step Side, 1969 Buick LeSabre, 1986 Suburban, etc...), Doc learned a lot about mechanical and body repairs. Learning from top experts in the field and taking courses, reading books, and magazines and experimenting on projects; he is an experienced craftsman.

Of course, to do the work, you need tools. According to Robin, he has every tool known to man. Not Quite, but Doc does collect dealer service tools, Kent-Moore, Carter and Rochester Carburetor tools and others. There are many builds that require special tools for assembly or proper adjustment of linkages and other settings.
Many of the tools Doc has collected cannot be found elsewhere. With these tools and the knowledge on how to use them, we can help you get your build completed the right way the first time.

As you look through the pictures of some of our previous work, you will notice the attention to detail. parts are meticulously cleaned, painted and assembled with great care to not only function well, but to also look good. When you pop your hood and show off the fresh carburetor, water pump, fuel pump or the engine; we take as much pride in it as you would.
We take the extra steps in painting parts and replacing damaged fasteners with the correct hardware. This is another area of expertise that Doc has developed. He can find the correct screw, bolt or clip to make sure everything is as it should be.
Robin is also involved in the shop. With an extensive background in soldering and electronic repair, she does the digital dash repairs and wiring fixes. Robin is also the final inspector of all the projects. As a mom of four, nothing gets past her!
